In my school presentations for grades K-4, I encourage children to look for and understand their own creativity by revealing the stories behind my stories, and by sharing how these stories/ideas turn into books. Each session lasts an hour for up to about 60 students.
Because I am a member of The Writers’ Union, schools can apply for a subsidy of my fees through The Writers-in-the-Schools program which is funded by the Ontario Arts Council (OAC). Fees are available upon request or by visiting my page on The Writers’ Union site HERE.
